How to get rid of Acnes and Spot

Many people hate acnes and blemishes especially girls who love to always have flawless and beautiful skin. Most people find themselves suffering from an acne outbreak at some point, whether it's due to hormones or stress. Contrary to popular belief, pimples don't mean your skin is dirty or unclean — in fact, over-cleansing can irritate your skin even more.

Acne is a common human skin disease it occurs most commonly during adolescence, and often continues into adulthood. In adolescence, acne is usually caused by an increase in testosterone, which accrues during puberty, regardless of sex. For most people, acne diminishes over time and tends to disappear or at the very least decreases by age 25. There is, however, no way to predict how long it will take to disappear entirely, and some individuals will carry this condition well into their thirties, forties, and beyond.

When I'm in secondary school (13 years old), my face begin to pop out pimples at my forehead and comedoes(blackhead) on my nose. In that time I still don't know how to take good care of my skin, I have no skincare routine, just wash my face when take shower with body foam (no facial foam too, haha). After shower I used to scratch my face with towel and I love to squeeze that annoying things with bobby pin. You guys know that, my skin condition became sooooo perfectly disaster! That condition continued until I graduated from senior high school(SMA). I start working and begin to use makeup also want to have a good skincare routine. Looking beautiful girls in magazine and always imagine to have flawless skin like them, I am so sad why my face is so horrible. Everyday I searched a lot how people get rid of acnes and blemishes. At last, I already get rid of pimples and blemishes, and I wanna share with you guys. ;)

Here we go, here's how to get glowing, healthy skin and eliminate acne for good:

  • 1. Wash your face three times daily. In the morning after bath or shower, whenever when you go out and home don't be lazy to wash your face because outside got so many dirt and pollution that you don't even know. And the last, wash your face before you go to sleep make sure your makeup is removed, If you wear makeup, never go to bed without washing it all off. Sleeping with makeup on is a surefire way to increase your pimple-count and make getting rid of your acne even more difficult. Use an oil-free makeup remover prior to washing with your regular cleanser to make sure all traces have been removed. Product that I use: Acnes Foaming Wash from Mentholatum Acnes Treatment Series

  • 2. Use a toner after cleansing. After you wash your face, exfoliate, or apply a face mask, apply a toner to the entirety of your face. Toners work to tighten pores making it less likely that dirt and oil will become trapped in them. Don’t rinse toners after application - allow them to stay on your skin.
  • 3. Always apply a moisturizer. Oily skin produces acne, and if your skin is very dry your body will compensate by creating extra oils. To prevent this from happening, use a gentle moisturizer after you wash your face every morning and evening. Apply moisturizer after toner application.
  • 4. Extra product: Benzoyl peroxide. You can use benzoyl peroxide in the form of either a soap or lotion over your acne-prone areas. This product works to clean off dead skin and help your skin to regenerate new, clean cells faster. Look for products that contain 5% or less of benzoyl peroxide to avoid irritating your skin. Product that I use: Oxy Benzoyl Peroxide 5%
  • 5. Don’t touch your face. This is incredibly difficult, as people are prone to touching their faces on a regular basis. Be careful about scratching your face, resting your face on your hands, and picking at pimples. Never pop your zits or squeeze at pesky blackheads, as this only introduces more bacteria to your skin and will make your acne worse.
  • 6. Drink lots of water. Although we’ve all heard to drink eight glasses of water a day, there isn’t a set amount on how much water you should consume. Water helps to detoxify your body and purify your skin, so make sure you drink water often throughout the day.
  • 7. Wash your fabrics. Any fabric that comes into contact with your skin on a regular basis - clothes, towels, pillowcases, and sheets - should be washed at least once a week to remove oil and bacteria that build up over time. Use a gentle cleanser for sensitive skin to help solve your acne problem.
  • 8. Use oil-free makeup. If you wear makeup, you may be stuck in a vicious cycle of covering up acne while simultaneously causing it with your cover-up usage. Find acne-fighting oil-free mineral makeup to help prevent worsening your acne while simply trying to hide it. When possible, avoid wearing makeup at all though as it clogs your pores over the course of the day.
  • 9. For blemishes, use spot treatment.

So that all that I know, I hope this tips will helpful. Enjoy and thanks for reading. Good luck...
